Reunion is such a fantastic episode!

Two straight jaw-dropping endings back to back! That was just amazing! These episode just put Angel on such a higher level. Loved every second of it.

That blow-up doll/mannequin stunt double might be my absolute favorite moment of the Angel series. lol

I effing love this show. It's easy to forget that Angel is Angelus with a soul

It's funny watching these older series now and seeing the stuff they let slide because they knew they could get away with it. In the days before shows were shot in HD and everyone had 60 inch OLEDs, it was a lot easier to miss.

Bringing Darla back was such a good investment for the show. Considering she was only in 3 eps of Buffy S1, they've gotten a ton of mileage out of the character here. Also freaking Dru is a special kind of crazy. She has the most entertaining one liners. But man, Angel just went full on savage at the end there. I feel like he had a bit of an epiphany that W&H are the cause of too much evil in the world and need to be taken out of the picture regardless of personal moral considerations. Kind of like how Batman's code of not killing actually costs lives when someone like the Joker keeps escaping and killing more people. Angel knows the gang will likely talk him down from doing what he knows is necessary to bring them down, so he fired them to remove any obstacles to his resolve. He knows he may lose himself, but if he brings W&H down, more lives may be saved in the long run. That or he's just on a revenge spree for them re-vamping Darla. One of the 2. Also shout out to Gunn for getting in on the strategy/detective side of things this time. Pretty good call on the nursery. Nice to see him moving beyond the role or being the muscle, the "hired Gunn" if you will😉. Ehh, ehhhh? I'll show myself out

Late to the reply, just got around to watching these last night. Thank you for the reaction. Loved these two eps, couldn't wait till you got the Darla arc, and there is so much more good stuff to come. What can I say, Angel leaving them to die at the end is classic "Angelus" that's why I loved Dru saying "Daddy?" at the end, even she was feeling it was the old Angelus. Yeah, it's pretty sad about Darla. She was originally dying of Syphilis back originally before she became a vampire, remember, she was very sick and dying, The Master 'saved' her. So when they brought her back as human again, of course, she picked up right from where she left off, sick with the disease, and it was too late to cure. I love the idea that "She was living her second life." This was her second chance, she has a chance to die the way she was meant to the first time. Like her life was stolen from her being a vampire, but now she gets to live and die as a human once again. Then Dru shows up and all heck breaks loose. Poor Soul, I really feel for Darla. But Angel at the end "You're all Fired" is just a "whoa" moment.

No wonder the Master was so ugly. He wasn't very discerning about his vintages, now was he?
