what'd you think of this one? *UPDATE* DB links are unavailable on previous uploads prior to today. Will be down for 24-48 hours. Will update in a day or so if not resolved. Love ya, have a great week everyone :)

Andrew Dubbel

Love this episode! Fun fact, Urgo is played by Dom DeLuise who is the father of Peter DeLuise whom is director of many SG1 episodes.

Stef Furness

Me me me me me-me-me. One of my top 5 most rewatched single episodes.

Sarahnade

Love to see Dom DeLuise in anything. He voiced a lot of childhood favs.

Stef Furness

If you haven't noticed yet, btw, Sam always goes for the blue jello.

Brent Justice

I would not think it is time dilation, rather the beaming technology or whatever erases their short term memory. This is just a light-hearted, funny, comical episode, that's all, supposed to just enjoy the humor.

Fanny H.

I love this episode. It's just funny.

Teth

A really sweet feel-good episode! Apparently Teal'c wasn't in this much because Chris Judge kept cracking up in his scenes. I also love how all the advanced societies nope out as soon as the team suggests some cooperation.

Peter DeLuise liked to occasionally put himself in episodes he directed as an extra and he's in this one too. When Urgo is trying to convince them that he can change so that they'll keep him, he says he can be younger and the 'younger' Urgo is Peter DeLuise, playing the younger version of his father's character. His brothers eventually pop up on the show as well.

Timothy Nikiforovs

He's actually in almost every episode he directs, which amounts to about a quarter of the series. Martin Wood also does the cameo thing in eps he directs, usually involving Siler and himself doing something in the background with a massive wrench. If you see his name as director, it's a fun easter egg to look for.

Flufux

Teal'c drinking coffee will never not be funny for me. It's probably the part I remember the most out of this episode.

Skebaba

I was like "what does them not having any marks physically have to do w/ whether they were implanted with something?" when I watched the doctor talk about this. Haven't they seen aliens use teleportation tech already multiple times?? Why would there be physical marks if you can just teleport the atoms directly inside?

James Yancy

Indeed. In fact, when Urgo transformed into a young Air Force Officer it was his son Peter DeLuise playing the role, thus the physical similarity.

Jo

Weren't we supposed to have 2 episodes last week ( excluding the one from monday), or did I made that up?

Daryl

A wonderfully fun and lighthearted episode. One of my favourites. I love the increased use of humour as the show goes on. Both when it's mostly subtle but also when it's more in your face silly like this episode.

Lady Beyond The Wall

No you're right. 12&13 was on the 22nd, 14 was on 10/29, 15 on 11/2 and then this one on the 8th. So yeah, missing an episode in there somewhere., lol.

Behind the scenes tid bit for ya: Chris Judge (Teal'c,) could not stop giggling every scene he was in with Urgo

Timothy Nikiforovs

By the time you get to the end of the series, this is one of those eps that most people look back on pretty fondly. It doesn't always have to be a crisis/monster/alien of the week, sometimes the stakes can be low and you just get a good fun episode. Also UglyPig posted this on discord a little while back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns5hjpr9ovU&ab_channel=UglyPig Good thing they managed to get Urgo out of their heads though. Aside from the fact Hammond had grounded them, I'm just imagining a super chunky version of SG1 waddling through the gate.

Florian Hoyer

i cant WAIT for you to go further in the series, please tell me you will also react to stargate atlantis xD i always liked it even more then SG1 but it starts after Season 7 and it will spoil each other so you would have to react to both in the right order xD

Lady Beyond The Wall

please remove the part about the spin off, he doesn't know the name as that's a huge spoiler. he knows one exists and how its meant to be watched.

Sarkkoth

Apparently the actor who plays Teal'c had to have his part in this episode cut down because he couldn't stop laughing at the guy playing Urgo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3lo3kCmaPc&ab_channel=GateWorld

Dom DeLuise is a joy. It's a shame many younger people may not appreciate many past performances. Amazing Comedian. I love that his son is part of he show. Dom must've raised him right. Peter's involvement, as a director and later as a producer, gives the show a whimsical heart.
