Greetings, Patrons!

This month's questions thread has a lot of interesting questions and definitely material for an IFAQ or two. But I've promised a larger Dragonmark article, and there's a number of topics that people have been waiting on for a long time. So, which of these would you like to see next?

THE DARK SIX: THE DEVOURER. Praise his watery deepness! This would conclude the Dark Six series with a look at the Sovereign of Wave and Whelm, along with those who fear him and those who venerate him.

THE ETHEREAL PLANE. Following up on the Astral Plane article, this would explore the other transitive plane and my take on what makes it a compelling part of the world.

DRAGONMARKED FAMILIES. Every dragonmarked house has its movers and shakers. This article would explore a few of the families associated with each house.

THE FEY OF THE MOONLIT COURT. Exploring Eberron presented the idea of the Moonlit Court, a center of fey intrigue in the heart of Thelanis. But who are the members of the Court, and what drives their revels and schemes?

QUORI EXPANDED. What is the story behind the Usvapna and Tsoreva quori? What are some of the other quori we haven't heard about, like the slothfull Lluora? Note that while this article would introduce new quori, it would NOT include stat blocks.

AN ELDEEN CAMPAIGN. Similar to my exploration of Q'barra in past articles, this would present my ideas on how I'd set up a campaign based in the Eldeen Reaches.

Keep in mind that any topics not chosen will most likely come up again on future polls! The question is which will happen in February.

Thanks for your support!

Not Mordakhesh

Oh boy. I was hoping for the Ethereal Plane. My players are approaching level 13, and one of them is a druid. If they plane shift into the Ethereal Plane, could they use that to bypass Sarlona's psionic defenses? Help me! Theres not enough track and the trains coming!

C.K.

Since Sarlona is not surrounded by a literal field of force, you can travel in it through the ethereal just fine. Most forms of clairvoyance that could be used to survey and scout do not see at adjacent transitive planes; if they have a reason to search they probably can by using stronger seers with the proper powers but they definitely should be able to drop in. Of course to make it interesting you could say that they have set up some monstrous defenses on the ethereal (which would allow you to have some encounters) protecting important locations and to keep going ethereal from completely bypassing everything perhaps some very significant buildings integrate ethereal solids in their construction (maybe some special form of sentira behaves like lead!)
