After a close poll, we've ended up with the Tailor and the Wandslinger as our Cunning characters. At the time I started writing this, it was still too soon to be sure about the Tailor, so we're starting with the Wandslinger. Here's what we already know.

The Wandslinger is a Khoravar rake—a gambler known as the fastest wand outside of Aundair. They're always interested in activities that will bring them gold, joy, or fame... but there may be a deeper secret that keeps them on the frontier.

We already have an artificer (Scholar), sorcerer (Flame), and wizard (Stonespeaker), so I'm going ahead and declaring that the Wandslinger is a Brelish warlock. However, that doesn't mean that they follow the standard lore of a warlock—specifically, they may not have a traditional patron, and even if they DO have a patron, it may not match the label on the subclass. I'm presenting three options. One is that they don't have a patron at all; their abilities come from raw talent or an artifact. A second option is that they DO have a traditional, active patron, though like I said, it may not match the name of the subclass.  The third option is that their power stem from a bargain they made, but that this deal was struck long ago and they haven't had any contact with the patron since. Think of this as The Devil Went Down To Georgia... It's not going to be important until it becomes important, at which point it will be VERY important.

Tied to this: the Wandslinger's Fact is the OBVIOUS reason they're on the frontier. But the Wandslinger may well have deeper secrets that will only come out over time.

Let's get on with the questions! This will run for 48 hours.

I gotta say I like the idea of the Efreet distant patron. The idea that this gamblr once upon a time got a seat at a high stakes table against an efreet and won.
