I'll be posting Ghost Stories of Eberron tomorrow. I'll also post a lightning round IFAQ at the end of the week to address as many short questions as I can from the list at the beginning of the month. But I want to go ahead and do the next poll to choose the November topic immediately. With that in mind, put your suggestions for a long article topic below! Feel free to suggest old ones (The Mockery, Syrkarn) or entirely new ideas.

Thanks for your support!

Is there any type of Five Eyes/UKUSA cooperation happening within the Five Nations? While the Last War may be too fresh for anything nearing that level of officialness or friendliness, but being descendants of Galifar, I could see unofficial tit-for-tat arrangements, like Prince Oargev alerting the King's Citadel to a discovered plot of the Lord of Blades discovered by adventurer's retained by Oargev, in exchange for something like a free supply of quality building materials or something to benefit the refugees of New Cyre, possibly also support to those same adventurers getting ready for another penetration of the Mournland. I could even see some functionaries of the various governments or private citizens working together unofficially in pursuit of what they see as a greater good, peace or security or safety of all their peoples.

At the moment, the Five Nations are in an active cold war. The Treaty of Thronehold is only held in place by fear of the Mourning. Most of the people of the Five Nations assume that a Next War is inevitable; some are eager for it, while others seek to secure a lasting peace. But given that it's been just two years since many of the nations were at war and that few expect the peace to last, there's not a whole lot of cooperation between the intelligence agencies of the Five Nations; more typically, they actively see one another as enemies. Having said that, certainly there are government functionaries and private citizens who WANT peace and international cooperation, and such things could occur. But that's not where the Five Nations are right now.

Hi Keith, I don't know if you're still taking suggestions, and thank you for answering my questions up above regarding lake/river merfolk and sky castles. Would holy places throughout Khorvaire and pilgrimages be appropriate for an article, along with saints and martyrs through the ages? I think it's an interesting concept of a character going on a pilgrimage to visit a holy site that has been unavailable for the last hundred years or so due to the War. We know of Tira and the pillar of Silver Flame, but what about for other faiths?

I’m not taking additional ideas for November at the moment, but certainly, Holy Places is a valid topic. There’s a number that have been mentioned — the Shrine of Fathen the Martyr in Sharn, and for that matter Daca’s Watch.

Thank you Keith. I will keep this in mind for the following month, and I'll take a look at the ones you mentioned. Thanks again!
