While it's been a long time coming, I've just posted the Nobility of Galifar article, which is I believe the longest article ever posted on this site (yes, even longer than Provinces of Riedra). While this still only scratches the surface of a complex topic, hopefully it is enough to be interesting.

Inner Circle patrons: I am declaring this to be the article for August. I will be posting a poll for September's major article this week, along with a few of my favorite rulers of Galifar. I will also be doing an IFAQ lightning round to address as many of the short questions raised earlier this month as possible.

Dragonmarks: Nobility of Galifar

So you're making a character, and you take the Noble background. What does that actually mean? What are the titles commonly used within the Five Nations? Is a noble title purely hereditary, or can it be purchased? Do nobles have duties, or is it largely symbolic?
