Hi Patrons! A few days ago I posted a poll about Phoenix content. But I'll also be writing about Eberron when I have time. What topic should I address in November?

I've currently just launched a 5E campaign using the Q'barra theme I mentioned last month, and one option is for me to share some of the work that's going into that. I've been talking about warforged and elves on Manifest Zone, and I could expand on either of those topics. However, bear in mind that legally I can't create new game material at this point. So I could write about warforged, but I can't post a 5E conversion at this time.

If you have other requests, post them in the comments. If I don't add them to this poll, I'll keep them in mind for the future. And as always, thank you for your support!

Okay... 🤔 due to multiple replies i'm starting here again even though it's a reply. I thought i understood it when i read it the first time... but i thought it worked in a different way. This feels much more like the real world, except with magic. A lot of people think there is one (or more) god(dess), but which one to follow and how it speaks to them, that's really up to them. From the way the people spoke in the novels it felt that they actually knew what the gods wanted... but then again i guess that's what most people with religious fervor think and how they act... 🤔 So i guess the answer i thought is basically "whatever the people in charge of the religion where the warforged happen to exist thinks is the will of the gods for them... then that's how they will be dealt with, and what they will have to deal with." It sounds basically... well... like the real world. 😅 Which means there is no "word of god" on the matter. Sorry for the TVTropes pun. 🤣 (had to end with a pun, it was way tooooooo serious right now)

Also... thanks for the decent replies with hyperlinks and all the works, and also for not calling me a noob dummy. 😅

You've got the idea. BELIEVERS will certainly say with confidence that they hear the voice of the divine, because that's what makes them believers. But in the case of the Sovereigns, they assert that the Sovereigns are present throughout their dominion - Onatar guides the hand of every smith and the Dols are on every battlefield. They maintain that those who learn to hear the voice and accept that guidance will benefit more directly and this is why you should BE a believer - but even if you DON'T believe, the Sovereigns are still there with you. So from the perspective of a Vassal, the creation of the Creation Forges could have been the will of Onatar; it could have been inspired by the Traveler, who is a source of dangerous innovation; or it could be that this time it was a mortal who acted on their own, ignoring Aureon's voice warning them of the dangers of such a thing. But that is absolutely the point: In Eberron there is no absolute WORD OF GOD - it is all about faith.

and as far as my experience goes... that's a lot more sledge-hammery than an actual word of god. 👍😅

Yea I have a request. Is you game face to face, or online? Is there a seat open if it is online =) As a DM of two Eberron campaigns using 5E, I would love to experience one of your Eberron campaigns first hand.
