THEO IS GRINDING MY GEARS GUYS! Manipulating everyone and he's changed his tune and story so many times I just have no clue what his objectives even are! The scene between Stiles and Scott brought Dakrya out! Such a painful scene. Glad that Parish finally knows what he's doing & is closer to understanding himself more and his purpose. The Dread Drs strike again in this, I hope Hayden is gonna be okay.

Hey Dak - hope by the time you read this you are feeling better. My wife and I both had covid over New Years and we're really only just getting back to 100%, so I feel what you're going through. You have my sympathies and best wishes for a speedy recovery. And no need to apologize for missing a week - we've all been there. Thanks for the Obliterated recommendation - I'll have to check that out. Always wanted to see that actress in more things. Before getting deep into this episode, I agree that opening narration/music/camerawork was really great. Bringing it back to a conversation between Scott and Theo underscores, I think, the impact that Theo is having on the pack. Even when he seems to be helping, he's constantly promoting secrecy and undermining the unity of the group, and Scott's self-confidence in turn (which is key to his alpha-ness). The inhaler, to me, is a symptom of his weakening self-confidence and separation from his pack. Damn that Theo and that smug look on his face... And here we go, Theo driving a wedge between Scott and Stiles, talking about Stiles killing that kid when it wasn't like that at all. He is right about one thing, though - if the two of them would just talk things through, neither of them would be suffering like they are. And then doing the same with Noah and Stiles as well. He's a great actor, I guess you have to give him that. I love how Lydia is working with Parrish to find the Nematon. It's like back in the beginning, when she was using automatic writing/drawing to access her abilities before she really understood them. And now she's got Parrish doing automatic driving to get them into the woods. And automatic fighting, I guess? Weird, but cute. Understandable getting emotional in that moment between Scott and Stiles. As you say, their friendship is the core relationship of the show. It was a really well done but painful scene. But man, Scott's head is all messed up at this point, and that's really affecting his decision making. It is weird about biting Hayden - like how's that any different than biting Liam in order to save him from near certain death. Oh, and it's not just you. The Dread Doctors are definitely very scary. That's why I love them, personally. Solid episode, and great to get back to it with you. Looking forward to next week!

Neil I’m in a bad way tbh-I managed to film last week but now I have zero energy at all. Walking to grab a drink feels taxing. I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe it could be Covid? I’ll have to get a test. Did the doctors give you guys anything to help? Thanks for watching the reaction. I think you’re right, the actor that plays Theo plays it well. Especially to get these emotions out of us. I also love seeing Lydia and Parrish working together and being her in fight scenes now is great too! I hope that stiles and Scott will be okay 💜

Once again, a really good episode full of tension and darkness. The Dread Doctors seem to be invulnerable, but I agree with trying to wrench the masks off as it's possible they can't breathe oxygen - if they're actually physically here in the first place. I know they can physically fight, do their experiments, etc., but we don't know how powerful these possible projections are. I was happy to see that you had the same thought being one of the possibilities in your shoutout to me (thanks for that, as always). I swear, if they kill off Lydia I'll be just as angry as I was with Allison's death. The reason I don't think they will is based solely on Scott's "No" answer. I think Scott senses something or knows something because he wouldn't just not help a close friend and let them die. It's a helluva cliffhanger, but I would have maybe had it with the gang realizing that it might work and then CREDITS. I can not WAIT for Theo to be exposed for the crumb-bum* that he really is and I'm looking forward to him being confronted. It could go several different ways because you have to keep in mind that The Dread Doctors keep saying, "We promised you nothing" and Theo could decide to help fight/banish/kill them along with the squad; I don't think he'll ever be back in their good graces though. Looking forward to the denouement of this storyline to see what is real and what isn't and I hope we come out of it intact and victorious. Again, Dak, thank you for the shoutout and I'll see you soon! * I just realized that "crumb-bum" is probably American slang. It's a person that's worthless and has low moral character. There are a few other definitions, but my dad used to call useless a**holes crumb-bums going all the way back to when I was a kid in the '70s.
