Holy plot twist!! The blonde has been revealed & I KNEW IT!!! (I mean I didn't but I did have a feeling so I'm counting it! Haha) The fear on Rosalee's face when Monroe was in danger - I bloody felt that! Loved seeing scenes with them all together too, felt like such a strong episode this one! Excited to see more.

I absolutely loved your reaction to this episode, the first of many highly anticipated reactions from this season. This season is just a banger, well paced and exciting with each episode. Wrt the passage of time and how long Trubel has bee away, they didn't explicitly say it but I feel like there was a few months time jump between episodes 2 and 3 (given how long it takes to list and sell a house), I think a considerable time lapse was just implied. Hope you are healing up well. xx

They did a really good job at keeping Juliette's return a secret when the show first aired. Obviously at the end of last season there was a lot of talk among the fans as to whether or not Juliette was actually dead, so the writers and producers had to set about convincing us she really wasn't coming back. First they released behind the scenes teaser photos of Juliette's 'funeral' (and those of us who had watched Buffy basically went, "Yeah, and Buffy had a tombstone, so nice try, but we're still not convinced"). Then the producers and writers 'confirmed' through social media and other sources that Juliette was most definitely dead, and would not be returning in season 5. But I think the one thing that really sealed the deal was they went as far as not updating Bitsie Tulloch's IMDB page until after this episode, so it showed her doing some work the same year that season 5 was being filmed, but zero mention of anything to do with Grimm past season 4. When Juliette appeared at the end of this episode, it was a genuine shock and so worth the effort to keep it all hushed up until the big reveal.

Loved your reaction to Juliette's being back. You had the same reaction I pretty much did when I first saw this episode all those years ago. I really did think she was dead at first. Then this reveal happens and I was just shocked! It was a real WTF moment for me. And then the episode is over with yet another cliff hanger, and I had to wait a whole week to see what happens next. Imagine if you will; what that must have been like LoL! Ah man, this was a banger of an episode. I honestly couldn't remember if her return was going to be revealed in this episode or the next but I was sooo looking forward to seeing how you'd respond to her showing up.

This was such an action-packed episode that seemed to never slow down! Fight choreography was excellent, camera work top notch, pacing zippy. I did feel bad for Xavier because certain Wesen are very timid and I understand he was terrified not only during the attack and kidnapping, but also his life was threatened. Rosalie can be a thug when needed, that double tap was fun to watch. I liked the rather strange "family" of Nick, Adalind, Kelly, and Trubel. I'd love to have Trubel for the rest of the show, to be honest. Who wouldn't want a live-in babysitter for those nights out for dinner or a show? Sexy weekends at the ski lodge even. However, that was a shocking reveal that she was sent to kill Juliette. If she does tell Nick and the gang, will they think that Trubel was completing her mission as opposed to saving Nick? I'm nervous about that and the consequences afterwards. Speaking of Juliette... Wow, right? You have no idea how much I've been looking forward to this episode and as that final scene was playing out, I started smiling and staring at your face; I was NOT disappointed! My smile got bigger and teeth were shown. She looked fantastic and gave me a sorta Milla Jovovich/The Fifth Element vibe. Thank you as always, Dak. Really enjoyed this one and I do hope your chest infection is gone soon. Off to continue my rewatch of your The Good Place reactions. See you tomorrow!
