Hello All!

So we're back in order now I believe haha and WOW what an episode this was!!! I was lost for words at the end of this. Poor Connor, an innocent baby that is being dragged from pillar to post and other universes! Angel is really going to struggle with the loss of Connor. Is Wes even okay?! Is Connor gonna survive that hell world?! Are Fred & Gunn gonna move to California or Texas?! All the questions!

This episodes gave me a new theory. If holtz hadn't taken Connor it's been proven before I think anyway that perfect happiness doesn't necessarily need to mean and adult y'know that time. What if raising his son gave angel too much happiness and he would have lost his soul? I don't know why I never thought about that before but seeing your reaction just gave me that theory x

A number of seemingly independent storylines all fed in to setting up Wesley's dilemma and isolation when confronted with the prophecy that 'the father will kill the son': Wesley's demons surrounding his father issues; the trip to Pylea where Cordelia met the Groosalugg whose reappearance resulted in Cordelia being away on vacation; Wesley's attraction to Fred and her and Gunn's romance and increasing sentimentality made him reluctant to talk to them; and Lorne's empath ability meant either Wes would suspiciously refuse to sing to him or would know what he already felt he'd have to do (the girl singer reflected that - she sang and the demon inside came to the fore!). He was estranged from and didn't trust the Watcher's Council; and he knew that the Sunnydale crowd despised him.
