The MOTW in this one was a little odd but I did really love what it added to the show. Trubel was great with the kid & Nick had to play bad cop. I'm worried for Monroe and Rosalee now, someone really is against their marriage - just let leave them be damnit! Renard's mum is very likeable and at the same time a little scary lol. Juliette is having some involvement with getting Nick's gifts back but how????

The MOTW in this one is from Jewish folklore, and has a really interesting history to it (Wikipedia covers the basics). The first ever film franchise was about a Golem as well, although being silent era films only 1 of the 3 films made survives in full. With Hexenbiests as well, I think this is mentioned in the book you have, the older they get the more decrepit and decayed their woged form is. So it makes me wonder exactly how old Renard's Mother is, because she's practically mummified when she woges. It's also interesting to me how a hexenbiest like Frau Pech (Pesh) didn't seem to bother to make herself look younger in her human form, but Elizabeth Lascelles has apparently "had some work done".
