I really like this episode and there are a few very special moments for me. One of which is the opening dream sequence as it is so '80s music video to me and it was both awesome and funny. More of this, please. 'That shirt though' Zebra was a pretty popular but also obscure hard rock band, which sounds odd, but it's true. If you found them, you got into them if that was your jam. I was more into The Jam, the UK mod band from the late '70s and early '80s. The shirt artwork is from their 1984 album 'No Tellin' Lies". I think it's cool that Johnny wears more than just the shirts from the obvious bands, I don't know if that shirt is vintage or a reproduction, but if it's a repro, nice making it the way cooler jersey style. The date montage was another highlight, particularly the final bit. Nice bringing back TV chick that caused Johnny's situation. 'B*tch.' 😄 Daniel going through old photos was very relatable right now. I've been going through the old photo albums and scanning photos for my mother. She lost her husband, my stepfather, on October 1st of 2022. We are doing a celebration of life Memorial Day weekend on the Sunday and will have a slideshow of many, many photos over the years. They were married 36 years. And then Dakrya showed up. 😥🤍 I've never roller skated because my balance is not good enough, but the '80s theme was very nostalgic for me, I really appreciated them not using 80's on the poster as that is one of my biggest pet peeves as a self-confessed Grammar Nazi. Apostrophes do not make words plural. I only correct people in my head though - I'm not an a-hole and I make mistakes myself once in awhile. Speaking of a-holes: 'Guys like this baffle me.' They're just narcissistic a-holes. When Johnny confronts him in the alley, that is exactly what you do to bullies, you bully them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you beat them up, but in this case he started it. Back to the roller skating, when Torie served that table, you could totally hear that the cups were empty. Details, guys, come on. And I completely combined the roller rink scene from Stranger Things with this one; I was waiting for the punch, but that was Eleven and not Sam. Derp. Funniest phrase in the episode that I have incorporated into my vernacular: 'hide the plantain'. Thank you for another very enjoyable visit, Dak. Hope you and the family are well.

Raven Dark

There are a lot of things I love about this show, but one of the many things that boggle my mind about it is how much they managed to make me love Jonny. I still can't get over it. He's like that friend you absolutely adore, and when he does something stupid, you just shake your head at him with smile or put your arm around him and steer him away from the trouble. So good. Great reaction, Dak, but you don't need me to tell you that. :D
