Hello All!

My heart is heavy! I can literally feel Buffy's pain in this. She loves her friends and family more than anything there's no doubt about that, to me it's more that she felt her purpose in life was complete & now she has returned to the grind. I loved this episode, it was a key one for sure & I can't wait to watch more!

I forgot Spike didn't know Buffy was resurrected! The look on his face was like me seeing my receipt from the grocery store; prices are outrageous now. I'm pretty sure James Marsters slipped into his native American English for a second during the scene with Xander. I had looked away for a second and it made me whip my head back to the screen. As rattusprat so rightly pointed out, Willow is changing, and perhaps not in a good way. The first thought I had was secrets and lies. Which, by the way, is also a fantastic film by Mike Leigh released in 1996. If you haven't seen it, put it on your list. The terrific Timothy Spall and Brenda Blethyn star, if you need convincing. Spooky Buffy was bad enough but Evil Dead Anya gave me arrythmia for about 7 seconds. That thing under the carpet made me think of a hell gopher. Aaand then we get Evil Dead Dawnie. Xander had about five cups of coffee sitting right there, but he grabs a pillow to put out the fire. Oh Xander. I was happy to see Willow and Tara doing spells together too. But Willow stopping and then snapping her head up and revealing her black eyes was very dark. Willow. That last conversation between Spike and Buffy was very emotional and everything Buffy said resonated with me. A very good episode that would have been a nice Halloween treat a few weeks later. Thanks Dak!
