Heya everyone! Vilsa here with another Development Update! Little late this time because bear and I have been hard at work on bug(chasing)fixing  for 0.2.1. We're super happy with how everyone is receiving 0.2.0 so far, but we've still got tons of work ahead of us for both 0.2.1 and then 0.3.0 so let's get right to it!

Bugfix Patch

As I mentioned before, we're currently working on a patch that will be released publicly to fix some of these issues that have cropped up from the public release of 0.2.0. At this moment late at night, we've got the soft-lock in curfew from going all the way to the guard on the left path and getting locked fixed. We've made it so you can take the bra on and off as you please so you can unlock all the scenes related to the bra being off in the gallery.

Console

We're going to be making the console a little more open for people to use in 0.2.1. Now the console will tell you about the 'help' command that gives you all the possible console commands that can be given. Please note that using these can possibly mess your session / save up, so use them wisely! We're hoping that this will help people and least make you guys able to workaround these strange and hard to find gamebreaking bugs that have popped up while we work to fix them so you can still enjoy the game. ♥

The big ones are Time.Set [hour] for when the bed in 0.2 isn't letting you sleep (0.3.0 will allow you to sleep whenever), Combat.End (if you're stuck in a combat), and Level.Load [levelName]. We're going to be adding a Level.PrintAll command in 0.2.1 that will show you all of the levels that you can use level.load on. The arguments in [Brackets] should be typed in without the brackets (examples: Time.Set 12, Level.Load OuterSH_Outskirts).

You can use all of these commands already (except for Level.PrintAll) in 0.2.0. All you have to do is enable the developer console in game settings and then Press ~ or F2 or Keypad 0 for the console.

VR Center

Now that we've got all the necessaries out of the way, it's time for some yummy eye candy. Before starting work on 0.2.1, we made a ton of progress on 0.3.0. Bear put together a really awesome looking concept for the VR level that will be constructed in 3D. This is the sorta thing you'll see when inside one of the tubes in the VR 'training' center of Carceburg.

The training center itself won't be in full operation when you venture there in 0.3.0, but we're hoping that later on in development you'll be able to come back to practice combat, do challenges, and engage in... 'training' programs.

Mission Markers

As we add more and more sequences and missions, we know it's going to get harder to figure out where the hell we're trying to get you to go. To help with that we've made it so that mission tasks have character targets that we assign, which will place a marker over their head to tell you that you have to deal with them to progress the mission.

Cutscenes

We've completed a few cutscenes and dialogue that will be used for the prison portion of the 'explosives' mission. This part of the mission can be completed in multiple ways, the way depicted in the gif below is the prude option. We'll let you guys figure out the lewd way on your own. ♥

That's it for this week's Development Update! Sorry for the delay on this one as I've been super busy all night working on 0.2.1. We'll see you next week on Wednesday for the next one! We might not have a Sketch Vault on Friday and if we don't we'll see about putting out something else in its place.
