We’re incredibly proud to present Third Crisis 0.2.0 in a public release! We’ve got an additional four CGs with variants and a bunch of h-scenes that utilize these images, along with tons of fixes and additional content.

To get past the content of 0.1, go to “Load Game” and click the “Skip Prologue” Button. Your saves from 0.1 will NOT work because we had to redo the Missions system.


0.2.0 Patchnotes

  • Added additional overworld sprites to the motel.
  • Added multiple building interiors in Carceburg, including the bar, prison and town hall.
  • Added multiple logic additions and polish to the dialogue system to allow things like sticking multiple dialogues together and easily running logic when a choice is selected.
  • Added additional music tracks to the game.
  • Added logic and art that allows Jenna’s nipples to poke through her suit if the bra is skipped.
  • Added dialogue that acknowledges that the player skipped the bra, and some dialogues will also acknowledge if Jenna is missing her bra.
  • Added a badge apparel item which includes a small dialogue sprite.
  • Added a curfew minigame that utilizes the combat system where the player has to sneak around guards to get back to the motel and they’ll get taken to the prison if they get caught.
  • Added a gallery that can be accessed by interacting with Jenna’s bed in the motel.
  • Added multiple new h-scenes in various places around Carceburg.
  • Added four new CGs with multiple variants each.
  • Added confirmation pop-ups to deleting and overwriting save games.
  • Added the ability to take your clothes off in certain areas, one of which being Jenna’s room in the motel.
  • Added visual scripting and extension logic to make sequence development significantly faster and easier to iterate on for more efficient content creation.
  • Added backend logic for currency (currently you can’t view what you have or use it, but you can receive money).
  • Modified the motel intro cutscene to force the player to use the new ability to strip in Jenna’s room before continuing.
  • Modified the motel’s logic setup to make room for easily adding on more events and sequences.
  • Modified Jenna’s walking animation speed at both higher and lower movement speeds to match the animation to the movement better.
  • Modified the backend mission system to allow for faster content creation and for future extension.
  • Modified save menu to include a save button that needs to be pushed to save the game with the name that is in the text field (this also allows Android to finally save).
  • Fixed issues revolving around holding the skip bind to skip dialogue.
  • Fixed Grumpy Man state saving issues that would soft lock the game.
  • Fixed some missing mission task completions.
  • Fixed some unseen issues with the Day-Night cycle and added a lot of logic revolving around things happening at certain times.
  • Fixed countless little bugs and issues.

Hey guys, just wanted to say great release with 0.2.0. The game really looks promising. I have 2 suggestions for you, if you want to hear me out. The first is related to the patreon, the second to the game itself: 1. I would really like to donate, but so far you only have the 3$ option which gives you no early release and the 5$ one with 1 month early. How about making the 3$ give you the game 2 weeks earlier than public release? That would be a good hybrid solution for those people who dont have that much money on their hands and still want to support you, while also giving them the reward of getting it earlier than public release. 2. Gameplay. Regarding the Stealth sequences. Can we maybe have a way to save during those? They are not super hard or anything, but I had to reload mine due to a basic mistake I made, and it's kind of annoying to start it all the way from the bar again if you mess something up. I understand not being able to save during combat, that's a good decision (although I do advice you to keep that in mind when you create combat encounters, to make sure people actually get the chance to save before the fight and not having to sit through a lot of gameplay and/or dialogue again when they loose a fight). But IMO stealth sequences should have the save option. Anyway, that's about it. I hope you continue to create this great game (which has good writing too in my opinion). And most importantly, I hope you have fun doing it.

Hi! Unfortunately the $3 is only going to be for art pledges, we have no plans to give early access to that tier. Sorry. Also if we were to implement the ability to save the state of combat for stealth, we might as well just do it for normal combat as well. One of the main reasons you can't save during combat is the messiness that could come from being able to save in the middle of it. Really happy you enjoyed the game! ♥

Good stuff, but this isn't much more than the last demo. I guess you've been ironing out a lot of bugs and features? Will the next update be more content heavy, and how heavy will this content be? I'd like to know before pledging.

There's a lot of optional stuff that you can do by exploring around the town and poking at doors to find ones that aren't locked. 0.3.0 is looking to have more gameplay, but maybe not as much CGs added as 0.2.0. We've still got a month to go though, so we'll see how much we can cram in. Also yes, since we develop most of our systems from scratch there is a lot of time needed to iron things out and make sure they work great. Thanks for playing! ♥
