February Update (2020) (Patreon)

Hi all!

Okay, so this is super quick, cause I am on a fucking roll right now.

1. I am still waiting for the last payments to go through for January and then will be sending out instructions for Patrons who hit $15 dollars or more to get their Special Edition. That could happen tomorrow or this weekend (I never know, it's just way faster some months)

2. Last Arachne is headed back to the editor for round 3 of edits. In this round, she goes over all of the changes to find any last errors before declaring the draft clean. These last edits should be super fast once I get them back.

My artist for LA is way behind, so I imagine that this will be the book's primary delay. Once I have art and final edits done, then the publisher will take over and we should have an ebook. This will also be a physical book, but it may take a bit longer (on account of illustrations).

3. I've been working on editing Book 2 pretty hardcore for a bit now. I am under 800 edits left, but a lot of these still take some time. Some are simple "you've used this word too much" where others are more like "hey, this shit needs some serious help, cause...damn". With Last Arachne off my to-do list (for now), Book 2 will be getting more love.

4. Audiobook had a small delay, but is back on track. In short, the VA hired to do it ran into a huge scheduling conflict, but it's back on track now.

5. I've got a fairly big announcement coming any day now. It was supposed to come two weeks ago, but the theme of 2020 so far has been "all your shit is being delayed." This announcement will tie in to some exciting new Patron only rewards for this year. It's a huge goal of mine to allow patrons to earn some fun extras, so we will see how this pans out. cue mysterious music

6. Hey, while I have your attention, don't forget to nominate my stories on https://clitoridesawards.org/. As of now, I don't know that I have enough nominations to make it into any category for voting, and the nomination window closes soon. I am up for Author of the Year 2019, Last Arachne is up for Erotic Fantasy, and somehow Book 2 isn't nominated for Erotic Fantasy, but BDSM. (That one scene, I bet).

There is also a nomination going on at https://forum.literotica.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7 where you can nominate me for Literotica awards. While these awards aren't super important to me, it does allow me to market my books as award winning (which I did with Book 1).
