Monthly Update (October 2019) + Cover Reveal (Patreon)

Hi all!

Just dropping in to give you an update on what is happening behind the scenes.

Book Two: I have gone from 4600 edits down to about 1100. These last ones are more difficult, so will take longer than the first. The cover, however, is complete, and once I have the edits done, I will be sending the final script off to the formatters. I am fighting hard to have this ready prior to Christmas.

The Last Arachne: The first batch of artwork is due the beginning of November, so I am hoping to share a couple of rough drafts with you to build excitement. While I am busy going through and approving those, the second batch of artwork will be commissioned. Last Arachne is a very ambitious project on my part, so I have so many fingers crossed that the final product exceeds expectations once it hits Amazon. I expect to be done with developmental edits for LA soon, which means it will go for line edits in November and the written portion will be done by December. I don't think the artwork will get completed in time for a Christmas release, but you never know.

Project: SongBird: So I will speak to this for just a little bit. As my Patreon page slowly grows, I am looking at ways to improve the experience for my Patrons in terms of long term rewards (similar to the Special Edition). I will always do Special Editions of the main storyline (HFHM), but I want to do more. 

I won't mince words here: I have slowly been working to ensure that my Patreon page is not just my writing, but an experience for you, my most loyal readers. Why? Because I want to make a living doing this. I think I have the unique opportunity to provide my readers with a new kind of experience, especially here on Patreon. That means expanding the idea of being a writer here beyond simply putting up chapters, and I've already done that a bit with artwork, but I want more. Why? Because I think you deserve it.

SongBird is one of a few special projects I wanted to pursue that finally got greenlit and I hope to announce another secret project in the next couple of months (SongBird is not a new story, for those of you worried). Stay tuned, November is gonna get busy!
