Hey all!

So this is a poll for everyone. I am talks with the cover artist about who to put on the cover. The cover artist may choose some characters he wants or ones I want based on how the design will look.

I am curious what you want to see. This is no guarantee, but if the artist says "Hey, you pick" I want to hear your input.

If you could choose only ONE character to put on the cover, who would you want to see? Again, no guarantees, but I at least want that input in case it comes to a toss up.

Almost has to be Naia, or something generic, otherwise you risk spoilers for those who haven't read it

Robert Garlinghouse

Naia. The most recognizable, maybe, of the characters, better to draw in new readers.

it's right in chapter 1 almost Naia is the first to awaken and the first to bond with each caretaker so it only makes sense that she's the first to be seen by anyone picking up the book for the first time.

I'd say Naia because she's core to the house, 1st line to cross for a prospective caretaker ... Story keeps coming back to her, almost more than the physical house ...

Agree with all above for their reasons.

Alice

Wow this vote looks close I hope Naia can pull through

Yshomatsu

Yeah has to be Naia to keep all the others a surprise for new readers

I think it should be Cecilia the cover girl, but like she changed when she had sex with Mike in the cave ... That way its something to look forward to. I always loved finding the cover picture later in the story. Gives you something to look forward to.

My first thought was Cecilia only because in my mind I pictured the house on the book cover. Cecilia likes the front porch and approaching the house she would likely be the first you would see if blessed with the gift. However naia is the first character so it would fit to see her.

Why don't you start it at the begining with Beth showing Mike the House. People will want to see the girls (art) have it in the front or back of the book, they can look at it after they buy the book.

I love Cecilia which is who I voted for but I think would make sense for Naia to win as she is the first girl to appear.

Raymond Jeffries

First book should definitely be Naia.

i agree with cecilia sitting on the porch. A picture of the house suits the title. But then if i was looking at the cover and saw a relatively normal though somewhat pale girl i would be intrigued as to what the horny monster part of the title was all about. It would certainly make me want to investigate the book more.
