Want to hear something wild......I watched Friends a little bit when it aired, but I was never that into it. When I see David Schwimmer on TV, I might be the only person alive that thinks of him in Band of Brothers before I think of him as Ross.

This show was something I used to watch on VHS whenever I visited my grandfather when I was younger. It was one of the only videos he had, he was a veteran of WW2 as well, and he let me watch it even though I was only like 8. I don't think he ever actually watched it with me, in hindsight I don't think he could watch it, he just let me watch it everytime. The opening credits always makes me so sad now cause it reminds me of him.

I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Friends. I've seen random clips here and there. I really only think of David Schwimmer as Herbert Sobel from this show. Likewise when I see Courtney Cox (Monica, I think?), I think of Gale Weathers, the rude reporter from the Scream franchise.

If you enjoy this show then you should consider The Pacific as well. Same type of show but it focuses on fighting the Japanese

After finishing Band of Brothers, I strongly recommend watching the documentaty on Easy Company called "we stand along together". It is a sibling production but the same production company at HBO meant to be watched after Band of Brothers. It's fantastic.

Yeah I never watched a full episode of Friends that I can remember, was always more into Seinfeld. Hell, I remember him more from Curb even. AN AFFORDABLE SNACK.

Ross got isekai'd into 1935, he knows about the war that's coming, and he does everything he can to prepare his friends

Super looking forward to more of this :) I know that Winters was a really in easy company but i'm not sure if there's any other parts that they did fabricate for the purpose of drama. I think the show is pretty faithful to reality.

This series is very very very accurate. Down to the man. There are just a couple things in the series that aren't quite right. What an amazing series.

i've watched friends and while it's not my favourite sitcom it's still pretty iconic. but yeah, when i think of courtney i definitely think of gale first because i adore the scream franchise. my favourite slasher franchise for sure and gale is an iconic character. still love monica though.
