a small misconception but the octopus they eat in Korea arent actually alive. its just their legs that still move (their nerves or something) a little right before serving. but yes, aint nobody gonna pay me to eat a live octopus. For the Deep, the octopus was literally like a real friend so it was like 50x worse

that might be the common/standard way of eating octopus but the "eating a live one whole" version is definitely a thing as well, you can literally find dozens of videos of people doing that (in restaurants) on youtube...
