Chiming in to -- using your words -- correct you because you are wrong: it is in the original source manga; it is canon. Furthermore, I think it suits Reigen's character. I realize you commented ages ago & have even been corrected under a different video -- nevertheless, I couldn't leave bad trivia uncorrected.

I'm watching Mob for the first time and I still can't imagine how the plot is gonna be from now on. I anticipate that at some point they will explain why there are people with psychic powers, but I would prefer if most of it continues as a mystery until the end. Either way, I'm sure it's gonna be good

correct me if im wrong but the part in s1 where reigen dresses up as a girl might have been anime filler. That whole half of the episode is just the anime studio wanting to fill up the episode so they didnt have to slow down the pacing of the entire season too much. But it was their bad attempt at comedy, so the manga creator didnt make reigen do that so its not canon.
