I like that you refrain from slamming the girl who asked out Mob. Many people often misunderstand the relevance of her character in bringing out Mob's inner self-reflection journey, as she was a product of a lousy friend group. Moreover, Mob's inaction or lack of emotional display harms himself and others. If she wasn't the way she was, instead, a girl who truly loved Mob, his continuous action of walking her home even after rejecting her could be seen as condescending, "pity," as she puts it. Both needed one another to learn and grow as people, as Mob is not innocent in the sense he lacks the willpower to guide his own life. This theme of Mob considering his feelings more is something that reoccurs in the season. Spoils? Not really, but I love this season, so I wanted to share these details.
