Love the discussion on Amos. You girls have picked up a lot already so far. Yes, there's A LOT to his character and his past. This crew has some of the best characters on TV in my opinion. The woman's son who was killed by the OPA name is Chrisjen Avasarala and she is the Deputy Undersecretary of Executive Administration. She works under Sadavir Errinwright, the guy that told her to keep him in the loop, who is the Undersecretary of Executive Administration and he works under the Secretary General who is the head of the government.

Love the reaction . So glad you girls are doing this show .I think I actually recommended you this year or two ago on YouTube during some other reaction . After watching all 6 season it actually replaced Battlestar Galactica as my favorite sci fi show . Story is amazing and its the most scientifically realistic sci fi series I ever watched ( NASA loves the show https://twitter.com/nasa/status/1478118356309921792?lang=en ) . You guessed some stuff miss way more , but I think you are right you will love Amos and the Roci family :) . First season is slower , but way from boring . I love the way they are building Expanse universe , but it will get faster in S2 . I don't want to spoil you anything . p.s. Neman pojma sto ovo napisah na Engleskom kad sam mogao po nasem , ali navika jebiga . Puno pozdrava sa Floride .

Even though Shed is gone, one thing I've realized about found families in shows is that once they hit their stride, everything they say or do makes me laugh. And then once the story starts to approach an ending, everything they say or do makes me cry. Hopefully this crew will make you feel the same way. You've noticed some important details about them and made some important guesses (some right, some wrong) but some of the things you've noticed will matter, and you'll be glad you spotted them.

We like to refer to Amos as Murder Snuggles. Naomi wasn’t worried about Amos doing anything to her. She was worried that he would kill James for all the trouble he got them into. Amos was painting what’s known as nose art on the side of the Roci. WW1 & WW2 pilots used to decorate their fighter planes with it. Finally, reactors who don’t really care about Alex! He’s by far my least fav character. I’m glad you have so much love for Amos & Naomi, it’s going to be great when you start getting their backstories. More of their backstories, cuz we’ve just found out that little Amos grew up in brothels and he now has a soft spot for sex workers 🥺

Re: the guy opening his helmet, you can actually survive exposure to vacuum for a minute or so without permanent damage occurring. You will lose consciousness after around 15-30 seconds, though.
