I recognise so much about what light said regarding how people act in the real world and how people act online anonymously because people I know irl would never say things that are not popular or normal to say in public. However online people say things that aren’t popular opinions In society all the time because there people can say what they think without fear of punishment or judgment. So when light talked about that I personally think he is completely correct.

Something I love about this show is that the protagonist is someone you’d never imagine would actually be a protagonist it gives the viewer a whole different perspective than what we are often shown.

Dub for FMAB is so so good. I've watched reactions for it in both and sub is good as well. But if you like watching shows dubbed you will be set for it in FMAB.

Whats wrong with the dub for Fullmetal? I think it's pretty good. I can understand having preferences in one way or the other, but in a situation with FMAB where both the dub and sub are good, whats the problem? I suppose I just can't get behind the idea that one or the other reigns supreme. Sure, when it comes to Anime the original language is often preferred, but there are some instances where it seems to me that people hate on dub just to hate on it.

MM sure but the characters in the series make absolutely impossible assumptions for the sake of the show. I'd say its better not to think about their thought process too much and just enjoy the ride.

Light has an extremely childish and immature sense of justice. He doesn't seem to have more than a surface-level understanding of law, justice, morality, or how the world works in general. 25:38 so you noticed the duplication? not in all cases but we are saying things like "pepole should relax and start listen and not enter the cicle of hatred, and yet later on - kill them all" its because everything good and bad happened by human hands literaly had person doing it (all actions had person with years of life in this world) and for some circumtances even justify their action, SO even if you not agree with someone you should know in a different outcomes it easily could be YOU, even without being able to realise it, be paciet to the other. becuse the seed of modest brave hero aslong with the craziest psycho is plant within us, as human beings.

I don't know why there is so much debate around a subtitled or dubbed version, not all subscribers are from the United States, I could say that Spanish in FMAB is better because it is my source language, but that would only attend to my need and preference to see it in that language, it is best to see it in a subtitled version because it is the original language. Also, the best is a democracy poll, but haters gonna hate ..., haha and also Light > L always but we will see what you think later :))

If you do the poll for every new show you will see only cartoon network fans prefer any sort of dub. Japanese voice actors are the best in the world and thats just simple facts folks. English Dub voice actors are like kids trying to Dub an adults world compared to Japanese Dub actors.

Well it is exhausting all the debate in the comments. I mean they proposed a poll to chose Dub or sub. Sub wins . End of the story. My first time I watched death not in dub and it was really well done but that’s not the case in most of dubbed animes. I was traumatized one when I watched a Bleach episode 292 I think in dub, coz I couldn’t find the sub version , it was horrible especially since it was the climax .

These subs arent the best, they dont make sense sometimes such as when he was talking about where kira may be located, "somewhere in Japanese". Located in a language????????

I don't know how it became a thing where people have decided that the FMAB dub is superior to the sub. If you don't want to read while watching anime, I understand, but in no way is the dub of FMAB or any other anime even close to the sub. First of all, the Japanese voice actors are the best in the world. Second, translating from Japanese to English never works because of the differences in the way the languages are structured. Third, English voice actors are generally terrible and cringe, they try too hard to "Do a voice" instead of talking how normal people talk. It's always better to experience art the way it was intended, it's just not the same when some guy from America is trying to play a Japanese character.

You guys should definitely do a poll for sub vs dub FMAB. idk who is telling you the dub is better. The dub is good as far as dubs go but you really can't beat the original in my opinion. Maybe let people vote and I'll be happy with what the majority decides

Death Note is a rollercoaster of anime with subtle details, you will enjoy it =) And btw, FMA Brotherhood is great in both dub and sub. Why not try the first episode in both and decide then? Good luck on your journeys <3

Light is a reference to Samael also known as Lucifer "the one who brings the light" so it actually makes sense. "L" the way they pronounce it in Japanese is "hey loo" = "élu" in french which means "the chosen one" so they're mirroring each others in many ways.
