I can't wait to see their minds melt trying to process the implications of a certain new character's comments in 3x21

Did you guys realize there was no intro for this episode at all! The lack of sound in general in that rooftop scene is so eerie. I feel like you guys were super exhausted from these episodes. Look forward to ep19 intro. It'll probably be like an hour long :P

EspiOwnage

Congrats on completing what the fanbase refer to as "The Serum-bowl"

I'm not sure if they will read this or not, but please watch the blu-ray version for season 4 they fixed a lot of animation mistakes on it, you can't watch it on the official websites yet you have to download it from torrent if you want to watch it officially you have to wait like 6 months i think.

Erwin is the living embodiment of the theme in Attack On Titan. There are no such 'heroes' on AOT. Erwin is not a 'hero'. He would put not only his soldiers on the brink of death but also sacrifice hundreds of lives of citizens for just a slimmest chance of a bit of information. Erwin is the 'devil' but it was necessary. Aot shows us what makes a person who has the power to change the world they must be drunk on something - like Kenny said. For Armin, it is seeing the ocean, the outside world. For Erwin, it is learning the truth of the world. From his childhood, he wants to see if his father was right. The something that drives him forward is what allows him to see death all around and keeps pushing on. But when the time is right, thing that drives him forward is what holds him from doing what is necessary, which is why he must be willing to give up 'that dream'. Erwin has the power to become the devil because of the goal arising when he was a child; it's the reason he never gives up, never loses faith. The moment we meet Armin, we already know his goal, and when Eren was able to turn into Titan, both these characters see a path to their goal and their drive even became stronger. Eventually, they both reached a point where they had to decide whether to keep chasing their dream or sacrifice themselves for the sake of humanity. And they were both able to create changes because they were willing to sacrifice; for Erwin, it was the plan to defeat the Beast Titan, and for Armin, it was the plan to kill the Colossal Titan. Why did Levi choose Armin over Erwin? It actually makes sense to a certain extent. Erwin's goal was there, so close to him but Armin's goal is not nearly complete. There would be still something for Armin to drive on but not for Erwin. But in the end, it was a choice of a single character to decide the fate of them; Levi didn't try to make a smart choice or a logical choice. He let Erwin die because he saw him as his friend and he couldn't bring his friend back to hell. It's finally time for Erwin to rest.

Wait how would the four-legged titan be ordering the titans when it had Zeke in its mouth lol That was Zeke that said that (someone probably told you though)

tom
