The consequences of blind devotion to religion and allowing it to rule the government are always dire. This story serves as a great warning against it. The elites during their time in the Covenant remind me a lot of the dark ages we had here. The church ruled everything and everyone that wasn’t a member of the clergy, a king/lord, or in the military had a shit life.

Jackal Sniper

This is one of my favorite Halo stories ever told. The story of Fal and how the Arbiter name became a badge of shame is incredible. I love how many similarities Sangheili culture has to feudal Japan. I wish 343 would tell more stories like this. I want to know more about the Unggoy Rebellion, the Flood outbreak on Delta Halo, the mystery beings that crashed on Alpha Halo. Things that go relatively unexplored in Halo

So they killed Roh too right? There were two bodies in the house when Fal found his wife Han. That was my interpretation anyway. Now that you finished ODST you might want to react to the Halo Wars cinematics/cutscenes. Halo Wars has really well done cinematics so even if you never play the game the cutscenes are worth watching.
