Also fun little tidbit: in the books they describe some of the Roci's journey back to Ganymede and for fun there is a scene where Amos and Bobbie are tossing Mei back and forth in zero G and she is just squealing and laughing the whole time. Sounds amazing!

Congrats on finishing book 2 Meg! I think Mao's motivation was both Meg, he want's to solve to mystery of the protomolecule and he's done so many terrible things, he might as well finish the experiment (according to his awful logic), and also yes profit. He also wants all the money from the discovery. So both. Also the music that plays when Amos says "You're not that guy." It's such beautiful music. I really think that's Amos's theme music. It always plays when Amos is doing something important.
