While not my favorite episode, this was still great. I'm glad as you said at the beginning that you're craving some DC/comic stuff lately and I'm here for it. I know you finished Batman: Damned recently and are working your way through other comics. So I hope we get some comic talks at some point cause I always love hearing your thoughts on DC stuff like your assessment on Lex at the end. And you mentioning Lex having a crush on Lois, I wouldn't be too surprised as Lois did say in season 1 that she and Lex did date for a little while. So who knows if he secretly wants to hook up with her again. But yeah I'm all for you reacting to more DC stuff! I'm so ready for you to watch the next episode as I know it's gonna be a fun one. Also I'm not going to spoil it but I'm very curious with how you're going to pronounce the title for the next episode in your intro

Not a stellar episode, but unique in that it focuses on Lois and her career as a journalist along with relationships with Clark and Superman. It's an unfortunate bit of meta-narrative that if we meet a new character during a mystery we'll automatically suspect them. I guess detective Bowman was the red herring here to lead us off the trail, being all grumpy and spying on Lois. Forgive me for making it a bit personal, but perhaps here is where I might find a clear, non-insulting answer after hearing you use the term 'Incel' to describe Lytener: Doesn't that stand for 'Involuntarily Celibate'? As in a guy whose behavior is so repulsive that he'll never get a date (and we've certainly seen guys who get lots of tail despite terrible behavior)? Shouldn't it be 'Volcel' for 'Voluntarily Celibate'? Just frustrating because it sounds a bit like virgin shaming. ANYWAYS, on to one of my all-time favorite episode of STAS next time! Can't wait!

Sadly "Incel" has become a movement for men (there's a femcel movement too, ew) who consider it "reverse rape" when a woman won't give them sex. It's an ideology that men on the far right utilize, and a lot of stalkers and mass shooters. Lytener reminded me of one bc he was getting violent because Lois wasn't returning his affections.
