Isn't that a beautiful email title?

Heyyyy what's shakin', people?

As you can see, I am in high spirits right now since I just got the very good news that The Muscle Bunny Girls is allowed to be published on Steam!

Of course, as I explained before, the game is a heavily modified version of what you got here (or if you bought it on Itchio), censored and made less violent. I'm looking into perhaps making a patch to bring it up to the standard edition, which is a common strategy with Steam releases of adult games.

In order to give the game a fighting chance, I'm planning on releasing it AFTER the Steam Holiday sale, which I am not allowed to disclose the exact dates, but you can all easily guess. So expect to see your favorite buff bunnies hit the biggest games platform in the world somewhere in very early January 2024.

My work isn't entirely done, though, and I still have to test a few things to make sure the Steam build is solid before release day. That includes testing the downloading of the game itself through the Steam app and all that, making sure it fetches the right build (and NOT the debug version made for Steam reviewers) and a few little details like that.

This week, I've had house troubles with two different evaluators bringing in bad news of all sorts. I knew I bought a fixer-upper type of old house, and I got it at a steal of a price considering the real estate market right now. But I guess now is the time to pony up and start fixing the darn thing.

Sorry to rant about it here, as it has almost nothing to do with my game dev efforts. But it is a source of anxiety and stress, and it influences my creative brain whether I want it or not. Being a homeowner is giving me both the highest highs and lowest lows compared to apartment renting. Pros and Cons and all that.

As I prepare to say goodbye to the Bunny Girls (I won't be updating the game after its Steam release, at least I hope not) and I work on the final touches for Hypnotized By My Assassin, I turn to the future and to what 2024 will bring.

While I keep working on The Bodyguard 2 (and a little of The Bodyguard 1 : Director's Cut for a release on Steam, as well, perhaps), I'm preparing to start work on the childhood friend that got buff game. I figured I could create a very early build on Ren'Py with the basic barebones UI and functionalities. You guys wouldn't mind it too much, would you? You are more interested in the character art and story, right? Let me know if you are okay with playing the game in a very amateur-ish state at first.

Speaking of that childhood friend, I still haven't settled on a name for the main girl. I'm seriously overthinking it, and I might turn to you guys for suggestions soon.

Also, I might have ordered ANOTHER CG scene for the childhood friend game, this one presenting our main girl beating our ass at arm wrestling, followed by a very unexpected and cute bicep worship scene. I have the beginning of the game planned out and those few scenes should be quite fun. I need to start working on it so you can see the wholesome domme story I have in my head. This stuff is gonna be so good.

And that's it. I hope you're not too caught up with Christmas preparations. I sure am busy Christmas shopping whenever I have a few hours of free time. Still, I am slowly getting into the spirit of the holiday, and I hope you are also having a good time. May the remaining weeks leading to the holiday season fill your heart with cheer!

Until then, stay safe out there.

Congrats! Another weight off your chest xD Best of luck with the release, though I guess it shouldn't be too scuffed since you had an ample "early access" period and a few rounds of fixing.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I'm not expecting too much work, but I can't neglect the basic stuff.

Congrats for the Steam approval! That’s a burden going away :) Best of luck with your house - my experience with those is basically always something to fix, it’s insane! I enjoy Veronica so far, good job!
