Just a quick update because I'm kind of excited and wanted to share with you guys.

Basically, I've finished implementing the throat lift / choke minigame already. The art by Manob0028 was so great that it pushed me to work extra hard today and I managed to reach the objective I've set for myself.

So I figured I would tease you guys about it a little. Heh, heh.

You'll never notice it, but I'm getting better at organizing the code for these minigames. Although I'm planning to give up on Visual Novel Maker after this project (in order to switch to Ren'Py fulltime), I truly feel I am pulling the maximum capacity of this old busted game engine, and that my way of making the minigames is at its peak. If the minigame turns out to be too difficult or needs any sort of tweaking, I've made it so it's super easy to do on my end.

So yeah, you'll never notice it, but I'm proud of my work on this one.

That said, there is still some stuff missing. I still need to write the dialog leading to that minigame, and perhaps a short scene afterwards of the consequences of losing the minigame, just like I did with the others.

I am quite confident I'll have these ready by the end of the week. I am on vacation right now, but as I stated earlier, I am a homebody, and would rather stay home than plan a huge trip far away from my own bed. I will try to play tourist around my hometown, so I'll take some well-deserved time off, but I keep my eyes on the prize and make sure I leave enough time to complete this part of the game so you'll have something to play soon.

And that's that. I've heard the weather reports call the rain 'diluvial', which totally sounds like a biblical term to describe the storms we are currently facing. I hope you can stay dry where you are. I'll do my best to not get soaked by the warm summer rain.

Until then, stay safe out there!
