"How does it feel to be a broken doll? Can you even hear me down there?"

---

Another objective completed for the month. Here is a new CG Scene for The Bodyguard Girl Is Too Strong 2, a continuation of a scene previously available, the bearhug between Vivian and Rook.

There was one little variation in the art that I kept from you guys, as a secret weapon to be unleashed at the right time, and now that time has come. Vivian lets her huge puppies fly in order to muffle Rook's screams and dispose of her in the second part of her brutal back breaking bear hug.

Admittedly, it is not a long scene; it's meant to be read in one continuous shot right after losing the bear hug minigame. But I believe it accomplishes its goal quite well.

In order to access this new scene, do the following :

  • From the main menu, start a new game

  • Skip the intro

  • In the Main Map menu, click on the Rook icon

  • Read or Skip through the first Rook & Captain scene

  • Once back in the Main Map menu, click on the new Rook icon

  • Read or skip through the scene, and deliberately fail the Bear Hug minigame

The Bodyguard 2 build 0.0.3 for both PC and Linux can be downloaded by clicking here.

With this, I hit another target that I set for myself for the month of April. The only thing missing is commissioning artist Manob0028 for the next Bodyguard Girl CG, and I'm pretty hyped about doing that in the next few days.

I hope you enjoy this new build, even though it doesn't offer a lot of new content. It does offer the best content, though, so that's a net positive, I think.

Now I'm off to my dentist's appointment. Haha! Stay safe out there, and brush your teeth!

That is one hell of a way to go.

Can you believe I’ve actually held back when writing the scene? 😂 I’ve decided to stay deliberately vague on the consequences of the injuries the SWAT team members suffer. So you can read the end of the scene however you want. Either way, everybody sees their life change dramatically when meeting Vivian.

I finally managed to try it. Good stuff but somehow it felt unnecessary long and dragged… A shorter version where Vivian showcases her ramp up in strength would be more to the point, I think.

Yeah, that’s the result when I write the minigame and the associated CG scene too far apart in time from one another. I get the fear that the scene « won’t be enough » so I add to it until I feel you all get more bang for your buck. Sorry if the scene suffered as a consequence. 😅 I sincerely though more was better.
