the guild of sabertooth had many red flags, they were borderline dark guild, what scares me is this is the guild laxus wanted. "A guild for the strong" kinda wish they went into that more, with laxus seeing his ideal vision of a guild and how toxic it was

The anime also skipped a manga chapter, sadly. It's a chapter with no lines, and it's only about Gildarts's adventure and at the end he's watching Erza and Cana winning this round. These episodes are showing why I and many others like the Grand Magic Games so much. Everyone gets their chance to shine. Elfman got his moment. Mirajane got her moment. Erza got her moment. Cana got her moment. More people get their moments in upcoming episodes. Even the frustrating ones like Lucy had her moment and she showed that she had Flare beat. It's nice to see everyone showcased a little.

I was gonna say your Laxus obsession was going a little too far when you complained about Cana going this round instead (not just cause she's my favorite girl in the show but just in general it's a little annoying to see shade thrown at cool characters JUST for not being Laxus) but glad your impressions changed by the end lol.
