No it's the tomb. Entering it causes massive nausea to anyone not qualified, Subaru is just acting tough.

Glad you picked up on Subaru entering the tomb without getting hurt. It's an important part of his character. Just to clarify, Subaru is within the tomb and he is in pain. Even though the episode was 28 mins long with no op and ed, they still skipped a lot of details in the novel.

This is the only time I’ll ask but can you quote the specific line in the LN that says he’s in pain? Because he entered the graveyard in episode 2 just fine or was he also in pain there?

Nothing actually stops people from entering the tomb. However, if you aren't qualified you will get hurt. Roswall got seriously hurt and best girl Patrasche got some scratches.

I absolutely love the song Straight Bet, so when it started in my first watch I was super excited to hear it again, then when I saw the title I literally jumped for joy and clapped haha.

Obviously Subaru couldn't tell Otto about RbD, he just told him about the circumstances without explaining how he learned it all, hence Otto's "just tell me to believe you!" Patrasche forced herself into the Tomb to pull him out in EP38, and Roswaal got his injuries for being inside as well. So Subaru looks kinda roughed up at the last shot because he forced his way in, too.

The sacrifices Echidna spoke about was moreso Subaru sacrificing his life over and over to find the optimal path, so there would be A LOT of pain along the way. Also keep Roswaal's "It's not a bad idea to make preparations for the next me..." line in mind :)

U could have given us an update at least like come on now, u stopped doing it twice a week we had no complaints or objections, but either tell us u've stopped watching it for good instead of letting us wait in vain for months and do only 2 reactions for the whole calendaric year... sorry to say but this is getting ridiculuous at this point
