Do you plan to watch the Reigai Arc? It's so better, I recommend you to watch it.

Please don't skip the reigai arc. IMO it's better than this arc, and a must-watch for any Bleach fan.

Yea Koga's backstory is pretty bismal, he had the potential to be one of the strongest soul reapers of all time, maybe even THE strongest, but that caused a lot of ppl to fear & envy him and want him displaced. What's even worse is he thought his family abandoned him, Ginrei did care for him though but his tough love approach really segregated Koga from him... Anyway, great reaction, it is the turning point of the arc but you're actually 5 episodes away from the finale & 1 episode away from my favorite ep of this entire arc so I'm really looking forward to the next reaction. BTW, I've seen some ppl are still frustrated with the timer approach too reactions, well if you're on a desktop install a video pop-out player extension to your browser. If it's like the one I downloaded it should allow you to watch the episode in full screen with her reaction overlayed in a smaller window on the bottom right (with placement & size control if you wish). And if my 15mb down connection can play both vids at the same time I imagine it will work seamlessly for everyone lol. The window should have a pause/play button too making syncing up rather easy as well.

Oh come on. All of these fillers are garbage with few redeeming qualities. The canon stuff is good with few stumbles.

The lady that made you go "Who is that" is Koga's wife and Ginrei's daughter. Earlier in the episode she talks to him about how Koga is changing and it's making her sad and worried. You also seem to have forgotten who Ginrei is. He's Byakuya's grandfather, the previous captain of Squad Six and the former head of the Kuchiki Clan before Byakuya succeeded him. He first debuted in the flashbacks that showed the backstory of the Vizards, Aizen and Urahara.
