Personally I always felt it should have been Natsu and Gray vs Jellal, being that they both see Erza as their “big sister”. It would have been nice to see them get mad that a guy made her cry

The relationship with gray ,Erza and Natsu is more like a big sister and little brothers kind of relationship. Also the little weird character that pops up every now and again is a Easter egg from the previous work of the fairy tail creator. Along with Plu (white dog thing with a carrot drill nose) hiro mashima does this a lot with his work

えるざ is how they spell her name in Hiragana, translating to E-ru-za. SMF's pronunciation is actually far closer to the true way to pronounce it. If it were U-ru-za it would be うるざ. Not sure why people have such a hard time with Japanese names when they literally break down the syllables and sounds for you in their writing system.

In the manga the Erza vs Ikaruga duel went differently. Erza didn’t broke Ikaruga’s sword but actually slashed her across her midsection which fatally wounded her causing her to die shortly afterwards. But Ikaruga did managed to wound Erza’s shoulder first which they also censored here.
