Rou design in the manga is the same as Ban just changing the hair, dont know why they make him more diferent in the anime

So what do you think of the animation so far? Besides the censored blood I think I’m one of the few people that don’t mind the animation. Of course it would be awesome if it looked like season 2 but considering they changed studios I understand that they did the best they could so I give it a pass. Hopefully it does get reanimated properly after the season ends.

Ik you didn't ask me lol but personally I think the animation doesn't hurt the story at all but it makes the fights pretty hard to watch.

Yea some fights are pretty bad but as a manga reader first it doesn’t ruin anything for me. With that being said I do hope they go back and reanimate certain fights because they were meant to be epic

The animation up to this point isn't that bad, it's later on that it gets really awful. Fortunately it's not as bad in the current episodes.

The animation isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. People were telling Jamie not to react to season 3 cuz of the animation lol I never thought it was unwatchable but I guess some people just can’t be pleased

Now that the episode FINALLY became watchable, I gotta say. The Gowther stuff is really cool. But also, I think you are severely wrong about Ban and Rou. Also, the subtitles were god awful; maybe someone can help you find something cleaner?

So no ban is not the reincarnation of rou. The flash to that specific ban seen was to show had gone through a similar experience to gloxinia before. Thus not only making a different choice than gloxinia but also a different choice than king had made once before. Plus rou's last words were he'd protect gerharde if he was reincarnated. Ban has threatened to kill her before.

It was repeatedly buffering and freezing and then at 4:51, it would just stop and go into an indefinite buffering loop. It happened at any quality setting. But it was only that one as I checked your other uploads yesterday. And then it worked several hours later. I think it was between 12-15. I just wasn't understanding why because the other videos were working fine and at the time, it seemed few people were watching it at the same time if that made any impact because there were only three comments/the direct link had less than 20 views. I don't have good knowledge on Vimeo and these things, though. I also just had a surgery, so I had a case of the grumpies yesterday when I really just wanted to lie down and see the video. Sorry for cursing.

I don't know if I can say that they did the best they could because I did some reading the other day and read that the studio it got changed to then hired an even smaller studio to do the bulk of the work for them for scheduling reasons. That said, I stand by what I said at the end of Season 2 reaction. The main draw of this series isn't the animation but all the character interactions. Fights aren't that amazing in this series anyway, really. Flashy attacks, but usually one of two attacks and the fight ends. Not much choreography. Just a big flashy and over.

I'm sure they censor the blood when their is an action like a stabbing or a slash, you know the actual act. But when its stagnant, it seems they don't care to censor it.
