In the manga it said "throne wars" basically one piece has turned into Game of Thrones for pirates. Oda has mentioned many times he does watch game of thrones and takes inspiration from there. Doffy is the best at giving speeches and whenever he does it is always important. Even where the manga is now Doffy is still on my top 5 characters

The funny part of the captains forming the Straw Hat Grand Fleet is that, most of the Straw Hats originally sad no to Luffy's invitation to join the crew, but he wouldn't take no for an answer and eventually convinced them. And now Luffy's telling people no, but they won't accept that. Or, in Luffy's own words back with Sanji, they refuse his refusal. :D

Since you're a Bartolomeo fangirl, I recommend you watch the next 4 ep filler arc. It contains a small bit of canon is and is Bartolomeo-focused (not a spoiler; it was promoted that way so everybody already knew when it was announced). It's decent filler too, and also ties into One Piece Film: Gold. So perhaps after that you watch this filler arc you can watch that movie (and maybe the Heart of Gold tv special, which is a prequel to the movie). Your choice, but you love Bartolomeo and already reacted to Film Strong World & Z, and think you would enjoy them.

Well the grand fleet members offered their invitation when the arc was pretty much done and were indebted to Luffy. Usually when Luffy asks, he usually does so at the beginning of the arc when no one owes him anything. But once the arc is over, the straw hat in question is usually indebted to Luffy, so they say yes. So in dressrosa it's moreso Luffy never asked anyone to join his crew (and didn't really have much opportunity to anyway, since he was in disguise at the beginning of the arc).

Don Krieg was considered the King of East Blue with a fleet of 5,000 pirates. Luffy now has 5,600 pirates under him and the weakest captain under him is strong enough to solo Don Krieg's entire fleet.

Not sure if you noticed but the guy Lucci was talking to was Kaku. No idea about the other CP9 members though. You should read the cover story about them. Actually you should read them all since the most recent completed cover story follows the Straw Hat Grand Fleet so there are no more spoilers. Also about the guy who was watching the marine ships with Doflamingo, he has the same mark as the guy that Sanji and co met at Zou. And I think you can guess what that means. It's about to get crazy up in here.

The next three episode are a micro-arc, which is technically filler as it has little to do with the main plot short of slowing Luffy down, so you can tackle it in one go if you want. After that you have a 31 episode mini-arc, not as big or epic as Dressrosa ("Depressrosa") but still rather important and with a gravitas of its own that has to be seen to be fully appreciated and understood. Finally you have a massive 95 episode arc; i won't spoil what it is about, but it's something that's been long awaited since Luffy first made waves in the New World (bring tissues, you'll need a lot of them.) Before any of that, however, I would higly recommend that you first react to the One Piece movies Heart of Gold as well as Gold, not to mention the intro for the Dressrosa arc that we just completed. Love your reactions & hope to see them continue for a while yet to come.

The "seat" Mingo was talking about is becoming the Pirate King, which implies getting to Raftel and finding the One Piece. Everything was tied in his speech, he said that Whitebeard sat in front of the (Pirate King)throne and took the reins (he didn't want to know how to get to Raftel). Since Whitebeard died, there wasn't anyone who was holding the reins and now it's an empty throne with many contenders that will have to face each other in order to see who will be the Pirate King

You remember that Doffy was willing to take on Fujitora, but he's scared of Kaidou. If Fujitora is this scary but Doffy isn't fazed by him, then how scary do you think Kaidou has to be to make Doffy scared?

hi ! if you're gonna start taking notes then i would suggest you to also take notes on the one piece's world building points like whenever a bit of history is revealed, or when world government takes action, ponyglyph information, ancient weapons, ancient kingdom (robin's flashback), fishmen island's history, doffy's speech (ofcourse ) , whitebeard's speech and most importantly whatever God ussop says.

Doflamingo was saying that the only seat that is open is that of the Pirate King and there will be a war between pirates for that Throne. I just call that speech the ‘War of the Throne’ speech.

those other ppl wanting luffy to be boss and workng under him is a big deal. it's kinda like whitebeard where he has his own crew but he also form alliance with other ppl where everybody calls him father. that massive grand fleet of his when he went to save ace is what luffy is gonna get. also what do u think doffy will do once he gets out? turn over a new leaf? doffy is a celetial dragon and a crazy one at that. he will probably just repeat what he did on dressrosa but on a different island or team up with kaido to kill luffy.

Well to be fair, the filler arc (or the heart of gold special for that matter) are really required viewing for the movie. I mean, she didn't watch the tie-in filler arcs for Strong World or Z. However in saying that, the arc is certainly not pointless as it has a small bit of canon in it and has some Barto-focus. which makes the arc worth watching imo.

Just in case, no one else has told you yet, the Barto filler from the series ties into One Piece Film: Gold along with the two prequels, One Piece Film: Gold Episode 0 which came out between 747 and 748 and Heart of Gold which came out between 749 and 750. As for that theory about the D's and Devil fruits, that is definitely an interesting idea that I honestly can't see any flaws in yet. Would be very interesting if that turns out to be true.

That logic is flawed thou. Your comparing Don Krieg in a different timeline. I'd say he's at least Sanji's level or stronger rn. Remember, Gin his 2nd in command could've easily rekt Sanji if not for the respect he had for him. There is a rumour going on at Reddit they could be returning characters but nobody knows for sure yet.
