btw if you wanna hate Akainu more, go back to the robin flashback episodes youll see that akainu was there and was the one who ordered the civilian ship be attacked.

Jamie you said the arc ends 4 more episodes after this and it's not like that. It is the same as saying that the Ennies Lobby arc ends when they leave Ennies Lobby. There is around 20ish eps to end and settle a part of the story and again, as a recommendation, you should try to binge OP until this part ends. Pausing it afterwards would be really nice and you'll know why soon.

Ace had one of the most tragic deaths of any series, while Whitebeard had one of the most beautiful and honorable deaths of any series, and they were only 2 episodes apart.

Don't know if this has been mentioned to you before but Raftel is the island where the One Piece is. So Rodger was gonna tell Whitebeard where it was but he wasn't interested.

You shouldn't say that the One Piece IS on Raftel, One Piece PROBABLY is on Raftel, until this episode the only time they said something like that was at the twin capes when crocus was telling them about how the grand line works with the log and the islands, then he says that the last island is Raftel and the only one that went there was Roger, then they get exited saying that that's where the One Piece might be. If it was certain that it was there then the scene where Usopp get's yelled at for asking Rayleigh where the One Piece is wouldn't even make that much sense, since they would know that it's on Raftel.

I think point of this Arc was to show the power level of world, and to show how strong World Government is. Also WB said that someone will bear the weight of generations on their back and fight World Govt to bring justice back to world which clearly foreshadowed Luffy having responsibility of the whole world and their 800 years of suffering and history

So I know you're saying that 486 to 489 is the end of the arc but 490 and 491 is also important and is actually the final two episode for the marineford part of the Summit War arc. Episodes 492 and 499 are the only two remaining fillers in the arc I believe. Everything else is important.

not that i like akainu or anything, but he is a great character. he was here from the start on a mission to stop the rescue of ace, by whatever means and he pulled it off

I understand the symbolism of Whitebeard never getting a scar on his back from running away but something always bothers me about that scene. Where is/are the exit wounds from both Squard's and Akainu's attacks? You can clearly see them go through him and stick out his back when they happen.

In the manga, half of Whitebeard’s face was blown off by Akainu magma. Whitebeard just re-ignited the pirates era for the new generation. Yes, good thing will happen to those who work hard, there’s always a balance, good and bad. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the Arc, and the mini-arc that come afterwards. Well done Oda for creating such a masterpiece of a story. Ya know that he planned ace's death hundreds of chapter before it happen. So he's in charge of the whole story. So DAMN CREATIVE!!! At the time of this arc ya know the author has claim that the future arcs will make Marineford look like a FILLER. Just pointing out the hype!! Also Law is bae!!!

I just wish they could pace one piece in a good way, that's why I watch it on one pace, where they cut all dragged out scenes and filler. + I hope you start giving Goda some credit for the story instead of"they" sure they made the anime, but Oda made the story
