Loving the show so far. They definitely dropped the first three episodes together to make it feel like a mini-movie. I liked that it allowed them to take their time establishing the main characters which always makes the payoff at the end much better. By the way, they gave us the timeline in the first episode when they noted it was BBY 5 (5 years Before the Battle of Yavin in A New Hope) so I imagine, if the plan is to take us all the way to just before Rogue One, there could theoretically be several seasons - they have been already signed for 2 seasons and maybe 24 episodes total is the plan, so who knows?

Wow that was good! And yeah, I couldn't really feel too sorry for Timm (even though I did a little). Mostly, I felt sorry for Bix not only having lost him, but also having watched him die. This is definitely the most mature Star Wars show, but it still doesn't go overboard. I think I appreciate that. Although, I think it's inevitable that Maarva will be killed off eventually, and when that happens, I might stop watching the show 😤
