2:05 That expression seems like the actress thinks this is ridiculous but it works well for the movie anyway I know I’ve seen this movie parodied somewhere but I can’t remember

Oh, the Village of the Damned kids, no question. Their polite flat demeanor really sold it.

The movie MUTANT did it a lot better. I think they were trying to get in on the Zombie craze after DAWN OF DEAD and ZOMBI came out. But it kind of fell flat.

Robin, you should check out WAXWORK, that movie was made for you. As for a stinker of a movie, check out TENNAGERS BATTLE THE THING. The film was re-titled THE CURSE OF BIGFOOT in the early 70's with new footage added on the beginning of the movie. They use the music track from THE BLOB.

Robin I was wondering a couple of things after reading your book. First is Universal a world wide organization? You mentioned Alien Cats in the book, have thought about using other UK cryptids like the Berkley Square Horror?

Chris Hewson

It's a shame, the movie has a really strong intro (though who would just drive into a huge dense cloud? xD, but as it goes it quickly devolves and starts getting tedious and depressing.

So, how come the baby has black fingernails & how come it's not turning Mommy into a pile of putrid goo?

Most kids in films are creepy one way or the other! Damien in The Omen, the group in People Toys, the diabetes inducing tweenies in Witch Mountain, but Village of the Damned takes 1st prize!

Henry (Macauley Culkin) in 'The Good Son' he's evil and manipulative and it's basically 'Home Alone' with out the cartoon physics. (The film was withdrawn in the UK for many years)
