Must say, mentioning the genius of Mr. Morricone's "Once Upon A Time in The West" soundtrack in the same breath as the copycat noise in this "film" makes my head hurt.

Stephen Crane

This movie had actual moments of juxtaposition of mood that you wouldn't expect.

I have a number of swords on my walls, but they are replicas and are not sharp! By the way, don't know if it's my computer or what, but it was hard to hear Robin and I could barely hear Graham at all.

Graham was very hard to hear. Sounded as if his microphone wasn't working.

Harry Manfredini (a name that sounds like he should be Henry Mancini's non union Mexican equivalent) who scored this did the music to 'Friday the 13th' the same year, he also did 'House' in 85 which you've reviewed, plus cult classics 'Slaughter High' and 'My Boyfriends Back' so he must have been phoning it in for this. Maybe he din't have much time due to the success and quick turnaround of the 'Friday…' sequel. Which you have have to imagine was paying him a lot more. Richard Band also lifted the 'Psycho' score for 'Re:Animator', legend has it no one noticed until a special screening was done for Arnold Swatzernegger before it was released and he asked "Why have you used the music from 'Psycho'?"

What gets me is that the sheriff and everyone else is apparently A) absolutely expert, like, professional level executioner expert, at slicing through body parts with one clean sweep, and B) every single sword used here is apparently kept totally razor sharp, could cut through an elephant's neck at all times! What the hell were they anticipating before this happened?

Loving the new DCHQ. You can have scones with gramgrams or talk about child murder.
