Detractor's Commentary: Young Hannah Queen of the Vampires

Why "Young Hannah"? Is there an "Old Hannah" out there? Hannah, by the by, is a Biblical name; Hannah was the mother of Samuel. Wolf's-Bane is another name for Leopard's Bane, Women's Band, Mousebane and Monkshood, all of which are names for Aconitum.

Bob the Vampire...can we suck it, yes we can.

Not a vampire but in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' there was Beryl a Canadian slayer from the 60s. Also in the 'Warrior Nun' comics there was a demonic angel called Beryl. Dogbane is sort of a catch all term for plants that either repel or are poisonous to dogs. The flowers in the film are (trying to be) Arnica Montana which is known as Wolf's bane but not Dogbane. You do wonder how much of this was lost in translation.

I can just picture the Pugh twins holding him down while Barney McGrew stakes him with his pick axe.

I must say that, I when I first saw the title, I thought it would be 80s high school comedy vampire parody.
