An ambitious new Patreon-only strand starting tomorrow!
Over the next year I'll be reviewing every feature film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, one a week. Will it work? Will I give up halfway through? Only time will tell. Unfortunately for you this is a 'just Robin' project so no fancy editing, just me talking to the camera. I won't be reviewing the films chronologically but I will be starting at the start so watch out tomorrow for my review of The Pleasure Garden. Which you can obtain here (UK) https://amzn.to/3o4dWcf  (USA) https://amzn.to/2JwcgsP if you would like to watch in advance.
Hope you all enjoy.

Okay, you've intrigued me. Will you spend effort on the obvious horror or perhaps expend the energy on the lesser known beauties? Perhaps a commentary on Chalders and Caldicotts place in Cinema history? (say yes!) or the way that the studios kept getting in his way? Yep, I'm in.

Hitchcock is my favourite so I am particularly excited for this!

Stephen Crane

If someone asked me "why do you give money to this Patreon account", I can say "because they do things like this...and put up movies that have boobies in them."

I’m starting to wonder if you have good work ethic or not, because you clearly don’t have to “go to work in the morning” if you see my meaning.

Looking forward to this does it mean 53 marionette funerals?

This is going to be good.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun. Please don't burn yourself out, Robin. Or at least not before reviewing Frenzy (1972).😊

I have a very good work ethic. I keep regular hours, I work 6 days a week - it's a job and that's how I treat it. rb

I honestly don't know how it will develop at this point. It's mostly just me chatting and seeing what happens.

Not as up on Hitchcock as I should be at my age, so looking forward very much to learning some more.
