A favourite superhero film poster of mine is the 1978 Superman. His iconic 'S' shield logo in silver/stainless steel in a stormy cloud filled sky, a blur of red zooming past and the logo "You'll believe a man can fly". They could have left out the tag line. We'd ALL have known what it was about. Then there was the poster for "The Dark Knight". The title so small, just Heath Ledger's Joker staring out at us, taking the film for his own. My third place would be "The Toxic Avenger". The tattered US flag, the disfigured monster, who is really a hero, armed with a floor mop. Brilliant.

Love the slow fiddle music under the Swamp Thing section! My favorite Louisiana film is Attack of the Giant Leeches, from Uncle Roger Corman. It's got all his trademarks--a swimming pool standing in for the marshy depths when the actors have to actually get in the water, incredibly hot blonde bad women, and long discussions of science over coffee. But, as Joel and the Bots pointed out, it's got real bite too.
