A wonderful tribute to his most iconic role. Fitting. Truly fitting.

Stephen Crane

I'm always on the outer as my first exposure to Sean Connery was The Offence. It was so anti-Bond a characterisation that I could never take the Connery Bond seriously.

Excellent. Can't wait to share it once you publish.

My favorite Bond line is from Never Say Never Again "We must eliminate free radicals"

For a quick video, you've done a fine job. Like most old farts I'll agree that he was THE best Bond, For Connery the actor, a lot of his lighter or later films don't work for me, the roles just don't play to his cool persona. Look at one of his later films, 'The Rock'. In that one, to me, plays it as an old, retired James Bond. Bringing out all the things that made his Bond work. Commanding, competent and oh so cool. Pretty much exactly as he played it in Goldfinger, Dr No or From Russia with Love.

'From Russia with Love' is the best film, and was by all accounts Connery's favourite. His voice over for 'Highlander' was done on a DAT recorder after he had wrapped up his filming (he famously shot all his scenes in seven days) the reason it has a slight reverb to it is he recorded it in his hotel bathroom which was the quietest place he could find. He also bought the FedEx guy who delivered the recorder and script a drink, so he'd wait and could take the thing on it's return journey immediately.

An outstanding tribute to my favorite Bond. Of course favorite Bonds like Dr. Who's may depend on your era. I have a friend who grew up in the 70's and Moore was his favorite. That being said his Bond is a seminal figure in film history and marked a sea change in action films. Yet he was also a terrific actor a point he proved early in his career in underrated films like The Hill and a Fine Madness. He was also outstanding in films like The Offence, the great The Man Who Would Be King, The Molly Maguires, The Name of the Rose, The Russia House, The Hunt for Red October and Robin and Marian. Plus supporting roles in the Untouchables, The Red Tent, the dragon's voice in Dragonheart, and Time Bandits. I even enjoyed him in your favorite Zardoz. It is an impressive list of roles that really show that he could combine good performances while retaining the luster of a star.

Connery understood what makes a tux and a role cool; you wear it, don't let it wear you.
