“How does the shark attack me through the toilet? ....uh huh.... yeah.... actually thats a pretty good explanation.”

Michael Schmidt

A classic MST3K and Rifftrax movie.

So glad to see this film get the Dark Corners treatment. The episode did not disappoint.

"Hey little buddy" - I wonder where Gilligan was hiding. It was also nice to see Barbara Hale. She was a pretty decent actress.

My vote for Ultimate Cult Bad Movie goes to one of my Guilty Pleasures, Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf. The title has a double meaning, as Stefan has to tell Ben that his sister has been turned into a werewolf, while at the same time, Stirba, Werewolf Bitch, is also Stefan's sister. The werewolf transformations are ludicrous and Stirba's costumes are unbelievable!

Just re-watched it last night it's a great trip, also when Christopher Lee entered Czechoslavakia with the filimng crew he was given a hero's welcome at the airport for his wartime service (the director had no idea about Lee's service)

Ultimate Cult Bad Movie? Tricky one that. Got to agree that 'Howling II' is in the running. Then again the 80's flic 'The Wraith' has to be considered, but could I add Cages 'Wicker Man' remake? Older B&W flics obviously 'Robot Monster' and Plan 9,,,' are in there too but, but... I have a soft spot for 'Spider Baby'. It's a Jack Hill film with Lon Chaney who actually gets a small chance to act. GAH! This is such a tricky question to answer! Get back to me next year, I may have an answer.

Definitely an embarrassment of riches when it comes to the ultimate cult movie. Have to ponder that one. As for Giant Spider Invasion, it's one of those "like summer stock but a movie" films where they can get some small amount of professional talent, but the props budget is so small that you can trace where every single penny went. If I was watching this film as a live play, I would find that giant spider an endearing piece of staging and it would probably enhance the show. As a film, though? No.

On the first day filming for 'Gremlins 2' Christopher Lee made it a point to apologise to publicly to Joe Dante for 'Howling 2'

Ultimate cult bad movie. 'The Room' has to be in there. 'Manos' as well. Although I'd be tempted to go with 'Damnation Alley' the film Fox thought would be big and sold relentlessly only to be eclipsed by the film they had to force cinemas to take.
