Okay, well firstly; that's a brilliant poster! Secondly; there is not one 'undead' character in this film. You've got to really stretch definitions to understand why the hell the film is called this.
When I did my first watch of this I was expecting nothing and was totally caught off-guard by how witty and inventive it is, to the point that I almost scrapped the review. Then I noticed it was written by Charles B. Griffith (or at least co-written with Mark Hanna, who also wrote Attack of the 50ft Woman). Griffith was a regular writer for Roger Corman and his name is almost a guarantee of insanity. He was the man who took a standard title like Attack of the Crab Monsters and made it a film about crabs that project their thoughts through metal with the voices of the dead. More than any other writer I can think of, he made bad movies entertaining. And as someone who has to watch a lot of bad movies, I can't tell you how grateful I am to him. He's best known for Little Shop of Horrors and got no credit (or money) from the musical because Corman claimed he owned all rights. I don't want to preempt our review of Undead, but again Griffith takes a standard B Movie plot about past life regression and witches, and adds time travel and a cameo appearance by the Devil. It's on Youtube, it's worth watching.
