The two fall in love and attempt to transplant Marshall's brain into the muscular body of a retarded servant Stephen, in order to prolong the aging Marshall's life. Meanwhile, the first monster seeks revenge on the grave robbers who sold the body parts used in its creation to Dr. Frankenstein. Soon it comes after Marshall and the doctor's daughter. Nobody’s ever thought to put Boris Karloff’s brain into a monster. Possibly because he’d just wander around being nice to people.

I remember one time in school many years ago, we were shown a documentary all about how bad corporations are, and in a section where it brought up Frankenstein and him being killed by his own creation, they surprisingly used footage from the z-grade Lady Frankenstein! Haha. I guess the producers didn't wanna fork out the money to use a clip of a Universal entry! Plus, it helps that the bad doctor's death in this movie is brief enough as to be shown in a single short clip, as opposed to a more prolonged and dramatic confrontation.
