Due to the fact that we often have to answer the same questions, we decided to create such a list, as well as allocate a separate discord channel «faq-universal_solution_to_questions» for these needs.

We hope this list will help you find the answers you need. And if not, you can always ask us your questions on the discord channel.

Q: When will there be a new release?

A: We plan, if possible, to release small updates at the end of each month. If this did not happen for some reason, then, with a high probability, the release date is postponed to the end of next month. [example: August 31]

Q: I can't become a patron, but I'm interested in this game. When can I play the new version?

A: Since this information may change, it is best to read the description of the awards for patrons on our patreon page to answer this question. At the moment, the new update becomes publicly available a week after the main release. [example: September 7]

Q: Where can I find game saves? How do I transfer my saves from one computer to another?

A: All settings, saves and other local game files are placed at «c:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\fall.out_data» ( Linux: «~/.config/fall.out_data» | Mac OS: «~/Library/Application Support/fall.out_data» ), but you should not change anything there unless absolutely necessary. All game data, including save data, is stored packaged in the electron framework catalog. They cannot be extracted in any obvious way. All you can potentially do is copy and/or replace the entire directory. Which we don't recommend. If you want to make a backup copy of your saves or transfer them to another system (save files are universal, so you can transfer your progress to Windows, Linux or Mac OS, regardless of the operating system), then you just need to use the «import»/«export» buttons, which are located on the right side of each save line, in the Load/Save menu.

Q: I found a bug! How do I report this so that you fix it?

A: To report a bug, you can contact us in one of the following ways: post a message on our patreon page, send us an email or write about it to our discord server through the «technical-support» channel. Please do not write about the founded errors on your local forums, in your personal diary or on the wall of a neighboring house, where we, with a probability close to 100%, will not be able to find and read it! Use only the specified methods of communication with developers.

Q: Can I play this game on Android, for example, via Joiplay?

A: No, at the moment there is no easy way to launch the game on a smartphone, and since it has not been a regular RPG Maker game for a long time, programs such as Joiplay will not be able to work with it. We understand the importance of such a platform as Android, so in the near future we will make an additional version of the game for these needs.

Q: I would like to support this project, but I do not have the opportunity to use the patreon service. Are there any alternatives?

A: If you want to support the project financially, then at the moment patreon is the only platform on which you can do this. However, in addition to material support, there is also moral support. You can actively participate in the life of the project, help developers test new releases, share your ideas about the further development of the game, as well as spread information about this project wherever you see fit. All this is no less important for us than financial assistance.

Q: There are so many channels in discord that I don't even know where to write!

A: Each channel has its own brief description that will help you decide on the topic of this channel. You can read this at the top of the page. Please do not abuse this and do not write your messages in unintended places for this! We don't have any special moderators, so remember that the need to clear discord channels from the offtop distracts us from the immediate development of the game.

• «announcement-board» - here we post some important information about the game, whether it's a roadmap or a list of changes.
• If you have any questions and you are not sure where to write them, then it is best to contact the «faq-universal_solution_to_questions» channel with this.
• «wasteland-no_rules» is designed for free communication on any topic, in other words - for flooding.
• «cafe_of_broken_dreams» - here you can discuss and share your ideas that, in your opinion, would look appropriate in the game.
• «vault_13-en/-ru» is a channel for free communication, intended only for patrons.
• On the channel «vault_69-nsfw» you can publish nsfw content related to fallout or another theme.
• «vault_0-spoilers_concepts_wip» contains various text descriptions or images for newly developed events.
• «technical-support» - here you can ask questions or get help from developers regarding the technical aspects of the game.
• «NoMutantsAllowed» is a voice communication channel between patrons.
