On to the winners for this month:

The Lara on offer here is more in the vein of the old design, cuz I'm old and I like the simplicity of 90s Pandering =)

Speaking of echoes from the nineties:

Yes! For those of you who were here in 2017 I did a similar thing with Dirty bomb, another multiplayer FPS that I loved very much but wasn't getting much attention (for understandable reasons).

I've taken to playing a bunch of Quake champions in December and I kinda want to give it some love, it's an imperfect game but beyond its faults it's a pretty damn fine Arena shooter and there's quite simply no other "modern" option for people who enjoy that type of gameplay. The game is F2P and features characters with different stats and abilities and variety in movement mechanics, but the core remains true to its forefathers, it's all about constantly being on the move to the next item spawn while juggling between weapons with very simple but demanding characteristics.  The character designs aren't stellar but they have a campy 90s feel that strikes a chord =) 

Moreover the game shedded its lootbox system for cosmetics last month and a recent patch fixed a lot of performance issue for most people. Also if you like it you can get every character for 40 bucks => I am not sponsored by id or bethesda, if I simply can get 1 person to try it I'll be happy!

 QC doesn't stand on its own in terms of appeal to just throw these girls at you, so I'm pairing them with tried and true favorites from that blizzard game, so you can chose your combo based on variables you are more likely to be interested in! 

If you are interested in the logic of the pairings, Galena has a healing totem, Nyx vanishes, Athena has a grappling hook and Slash...rhymes with Ashe? Is kind of a bitch like Ashe? All right she bolts around a lot so she'd be a better fit for tracer but I wanted to have Ashe in there. Come on she's 39. Why is that simple fact so appealing to me? hm.
